工學院2024夏日大學開課調查(2024 Summer School)

本院擬於明年暑假續辦工學院夏日大學活動，邀請國外姐妹校教師於113學年度第1學期 (2024年7-8月)教授EMI課程(研究所1學分18小時) ，敬請協助於2024年1月12日(五)前備妥相關申請資料寄至工學院信箱(engineer@dragon.nchu.edu.tw)，俾利辦理後續事宜。另附上英文版繳交資料說明如後，謹供參考，若有任何疑問，請不吝來信/電指教，感謝!
各項資料提交時程如下：
1.       推薦名單: 12/22(五)前回覆以下表格(各領域擬以推薦一名為原則)
*本次課程為實體課程，授課教師需來台授課。

客座人員資格審核依本校延攬客座人員作業要點第三條規定需由系/所務會議先行審核教師資格後，連同會議紀錄與客座人員提聘單及四份附件送院辦理。
2.          課程大綱 (Course syllables)(紅字部分欄位)
3.          客座人員提聘單 (Visiting professor application form)，請提供Word檔並於表格最末頁簽名。(紅字部分欄位)

      (二) 授課補助:
每堂課18小時(1學分)課程，由校務基金人事費工學院教師員額控留款項下支付授課費用。
因應機票價格上漲，歐美地區費用調整為18萬臺幣(含稅)，亞洲地區調整為14萬臺幣(含稅)。 ※非本國籍教師依規定須扣繳18%稅額。

It would be our great honor to have you teach as a guest professor at our university. We are confident that the students can benefit from your knowledge and experience and appreciate your interest in joining us for our summer program. Here is some detailed information for your reference:
 
I.         A visiting professor would be teaching a one-credit course (18 hours) during July or August, and it could be 3 days/ 6 hours a day, or 6 days / 3 hours a day, or other plans would be fine as well. The teaching dates are available and flexible for you.
II.        Regarding offering a course at NCHU, you will need to fill in a course syllabus form. Then, it will be applying for the necessary Visiting Professor paperwork. We will need some of your information. Please see no.5 for the required document.
III.      The program will sponsor you NTD________ (18% tax included) in cash, including airplane ticket, living expenses, and lecture fee.
IV.     A Teaching Assistant(TA) would assist you in the class.
V.      Please see the attachments for the necessary document, and kindly fill out all fields marked in red:
