 有關「培育優秀博士生獎學金」113學年度新申請暨初審推薦作業，相關公文及獎勵辦法請參閱附件。

簡要說明相關規範：
I.  補助對象及請領資格：
                 i. 本國且非在職之博士班1至3年級學生（不含境外生）
                ii. 有下列情形之一者，不得請領本獎學金：
  • 已有專職之有給職工作者。
  • 辦理休學、保留入學資格或未完成註冊者。
  • 已支領國科會博士生獎學金者。
II.  補助名額：113學年度工學院獲分配名額為10名。
III. 補助期限：
                 i.定額補助：教育部補助2萬元，學校配合款2萬元。
                ii.加碼補助：113學年度工學院獲分配加碼補助金48萬元，得分配予5名獲推薦學生1,000~2萬元額外補助。
              iii.期限：一學年。博1及博2學生於次一年度經考核通過後始得視經費補助情形續領。
IV. 申請表：務必填寫「配合款經費來源」欄位，且經指導教授簽名，如填入金額每月未達2萬元，則不予受理。
V. 學院初審結果推薦表
                i.各系所如推薦1位以上學生，請於審查結果推薦表填入推薦排序。
               ii.務必詳述被推薦學生之審查意見（勿僅寫具有潛力，表現優良）。
              iii.加碼補助經費：由院級會議審議。
VI. 補助經費明細表：核定後由各系所按月辦理獎學金造冊，同時檢附「經費明細表」，確認已報支配合款2萬元。
 
請於113年11月8日(五)17:00前將「學生申請表件紙本及電子檔(PDF)」併同「審查結果推薦表」送院彚辦。
本院彚整申請資料後，尚需召開院級會議審核推薦排序，因此請務必準時繳件，逾期歉難受理。

Please refer to the attached documents and award guidelines for the new application and initial review recommendation process of the “MOE Doctoral Scholarships" for the 113th academic year.

As briefly described below:
I.Recipient Eligibility:
          i.Domestic Doctoral students in their 1st to 3rd year who are not currently employed      (excluding international students).
        ii.Individuals with one of the following conditions are not eligible to apply for this scholarship:
  • Those who are engaged in full-time paid employment.
  • Those who have applied for leave of absence and retained their admission eligibility or have not completed registration after admission.
  • Those who are concurrently in receipt of doctoral scholarship offered by NSTC.
II.Number of Awards: The College of Engineering has 10 awards available for the 113th academic year.

III.Amount and Duration:
          i.Fixed subsidy: NT$40,000 per month— With NT$20,000 from the MOE and NT$20,000 jointly subsidized by universities and businesses.
        ii.Additional Subsidy: For the 113th academic year, the College of Engineering has been allocated NT$480,000 in additional subsidy funds, which can be distributed to 5 recommended students, with each student potentially receiving an additional subsidy ranging from NT$1,000 to NT$20,000.
      iii.Duration of One Academic Year. Doctoral students in their 1st and 2nd year must pass an evaluation to be eligible for renewal in the next academic year, subject to the availability of funds.
 
IV.Application Form: Be sure to fill in the "Matching Funds Source" field and obtain the supervising professor's signature. Applications will not be accepted if the amount listed is less than NT$20,000 per month.
V.Recommendation List:
          i.If there is more than one applicant, please indicate the order of recommendation ranking on the recommendation ranking list.
        ii.Detailed review comments on the recommended students must be provided (do not simply state that they have potential or perform well).
      iii.Additional Subsidy Funds: To be reviewed by the college-level meeting.
VI. Detailed Subsidy Fund Table: After approval, departments or institutes will handle the monthly scholarship disbursement and attach the "Detailed Fund Table" to confirm that the matching funds of NT$20,000 have been reimbursed.

Please submit both paper and electronic (PDF) files of the recommended students' application forms to the college office by 5:00 PM on November 8, 2024 (Friday). A college-level meeting will be held to review and rank the recommendations after consolidating the application materials. Therefore, please ensure timely submission, as late submissions will unfortunately not be accepted.
